Last month, Shaw hosted a webinar “Sustaining Human Ability: Taking a People-Centric Approach to Sustainability” — a panel discussion with three organizations that exemplify what it means to put people at the center of their sustainability efforts: Perkins and Will, HeiQ Group and Healthy Building Network. The webinar kicked off our program to recognize diverse organizations intently focused on products and initiatives that support the wellbeing of people and the planet.
There are so many great people and organizations striving to make a positive impact on people and the planet. Through our sustain[HUMAN]ability™ recognition program, over the next year, we’ll showcase 10 organizations driving change.
Representing a wide range of organization types, sizes, areas of focus, and geographies, the entities that we’re recognizing provide an opportunity for each of us to learn from their successes, innovations and challenges. We all have an important role in creating a better future.
At Shaw, we’re continuously advancing across every element of our sustainability strategy --- beginning with the human element. We hope our efforts to highlight the work of others who share our commitment to putting people at the heart of their sustainability efforts inspires others.
We look forward to sharing more about the work of these 10 organizations over the coming year (in alphabetical order):
For a sneak peak of their efforts, read our recent press release, and follow this blog series for more in-depth profiles of each organization.
