Rachel Kesselman has been with FedEx for over 17 years, including the last 8.5 on the Global Citizenship team. She leads FedEx’s global volunteerism efforts, but also has experience in leading our Delivering for Good pillar and International giving. Currently, she works to engage team members to engage in hands-on volunteering, virtual volunteering and utilizing their expertise/skills to support the company’s philanthropic initiatives or a nonprofit of their choice. Rachel works tirelessly to be creative in bringing unique experiences to team members. This ranges from recruiting volunteers to distribute coats to students in underprivileged schools, planting trees, cleaning up greenspaces, packing supplies for disaster relief programs, creating virtual flash cards around black history, encouraging team members to learn sign-language or assembling snack pack kits, hygiene kits, holiday care packages to ship to military heroes around the world. She wants to create engaging volunteer programs to inspire team members and deliver positive change around the world, including the communities where we live and work.
Rachel has many charitable interests of her own and has been a volunteer lead in Memphis for the FedEx Spring sustainable projects through National Fish & Wildlife Foundation for over 15 years. She holds a B.S.J. (Journalism) from The University of Kansas, serves on several boards in Memphis area, loves college basketball and has a Catahoula Leoprard dog named Phog (pronounced Fog).
