Director of Sustainable Materials and Products
VF Corporation

Beth Jensen is Director of Sustainable Materials and Products at VF Corporation. In this role, she oversees sustainability impact reduction goals and programs across VF and its brands, including responsibility for related public commitments within the Scale for Good pillar of the VF Made for Change strategy. She is also responsible for VF’s climate change efforts related to materials and packaging impacts.

Prior to VF Corporation, Beth spent nearly nine years in sustainability leadership roles at Outdoor Industry Association, the leading trade association for the outdoor industry, with 1,300 member companies globally. During this time, she built the OIA sustainability program and department from the ground-up, driving collaborative, scaled environmental and social responsibility initiatives within the outdoor products industry via the Outdoor Industry Association Sustainability Working Group (OIA SWG.) Founded in 2007, the OIA SWG is a group of hundreds of outdoor industry brands, retailers, suppliers, and other stakeholders working together pre-competitively to reduce the impacts of their shared global supply chains and to lead the movement toward sustainable business practices as “business as usual” within the outdoor and broader apparel industries.

A Wisconsin native, Beth has lived in the Boulder, Colorado area since 2004. She likes mountains; tacos; Malbec; the Green Bay Packers (American football team); Camp 4 Coffee from Crested Butte, Colorado; and self-imposed athletic physical suffering activities in the outdoors. Beth holds a B.A. from St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minn., and an M.B.A. from the University of Colorado at Boulder Leeds School of Business.
